The Kailh Calligraphy linear switch is a truly unique switch.
It features a melamine formaldehyde (MF) stem and liquid crystal polymer (LCP) top and bottom housings.
The 20mm long spring provides a 42g actuation force and 50g bottom out force. The total travel is 3.8mm.
The Kailh Calligraphy linear switch has a high-pitched and unique sound signature that is significantly louder than Cherry switches. It has a nice scratch that is more present than BCPs but still doesn't reach Cherry's level.
Some springs might have a slight pinging noise. The switch is a tight fit on the plate and requires some force to snap in.
The Kailh Calligraphy linear switch is a great option for those looking for a unique sounding and very smooth linear switch. It's a clear upgrade from BCPs.
