HMX EGG YOLK

The Egg Yolk is HMX's first switch built with a hybrid molding system, which lets the bottom housing and its centre post be made from two different materials. Here that means a rigid S1 post seated in a PA66 (10% fiberglass) bottom housing, positioned exactly where the stem lands.

The payoff is sound: the crispest, clackiest bottom-out HMX has produced, but rounder and fuller than the bright, high-pitched clack the brand is usually known for. The hardened M2 stem keeps all 3.6mm of travel glassy-smooth, with a poppy snap on the way down. Polycarbonate top housing, 5-pin PCB mount, factory lubed.

This is the heavier variant, at 43g actuation and 53g bottom out. A strong pick for loud, lively builds with character. Sold in packs of 10.
