First in first - the experience of buying here at Beaverkeys is awesome.
The switches look beautiful, sound amazing in an aluminum chassis (thocky), the lubing is consistent across switches.
They feel almost heavy linear but 0 complaints at all - also they come in the best packaging so far for any switches I have seen. They are my favourites of all switches I have tried so far - oil kings (v1 and v2), hmx cloud v2, keygeek y3x, keygeek y2 and leobog ice vein.
I would give 5 stars for the seller, and the quality of the switches seems to be good too. But I personally don't get the hype of this switch at all after trying it. It doesn't feel tactile to me, just a bit like a heavier linear switch to me. I personally prefer typing on very smooth and light linear switches for productivity (with a few exceptions such as TTC silent bluish white), and clacky tactile switches for stimming, so this switch does not scratch either of the itches for me. I guess this switch may be for those who likes the brown switch.
I replaced my keyboard's stock linear switches with tactile switches and what a difference! I like to rest my hands on my keyboard while not typing (at the ready to perform keyboard shortcuts!) and the incessant pull of gravity would inevitably cause accidental keypresses. No longer! That little extra actuation force and bump at the start of the keypress made all difference.
